If you’re like me, one of the most stressful parts of travel is determining the destination. There are so many countries to visit and it’s hard to decide where to go and when. The Travel & Adventure Show is a great place to start if/when you need a little guidance. The event is held annually in several major cities across the United States. Each show features hundreds of exhibitors that offer a variety of specials/deals, activities, and information about their goods/services. Check the schedule on their website to see where the next show will be held.
Do you have a passport? Is it time to renew? Do you need to replace a lost or stolen passport? The Department of State Travel page should be your first (and only) stop. A US passport is required when traveling internationally. The only exception to this is if you are a US citizen traveling to a US territory (i.e. American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands). If you are applying for a passport for the first time, you should do so sooner rather than later. On April 2, 2018, the passport execution fee will increase from $25 to $35.
